Portage Inc., is a full service engineering and environmental services company supporting Federal, state, tribal and local governments and private industry.  Since incorporating in 1992, Portage has grown to a staff of more than 400 highly skilled technical and professional personnel.  Areas of expertise include environmental remediation; civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical, and nuclear engineering; hazardous and radioactive waste management; information technology and custom database design; and environmental planning, permitting, monitoring and compliance assessment.

Since 2002, Portage has been recognized eight times by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing companies nationally.  In 2009, 2010, and 2011 Portage was ranked by Engineering News Record as one of the top environmental firms in the nation.
