AREVA NC Inc. is the world leader in the nuclear fuel cycle, from uranium mining, conversion and enrichment, through spent fuel reprocessing and recycling.

In May, 2008, AREVA selected Bonneville County, Idaho, for its new U.S. uranium enrichment facility. The site is located in Bonneville County, 18 miles west of Idaho Falls, close to the Idaho National Lab.

The Idaho Falls plant will provide enrichment services to U.S. nuclear plant operators using advanced proven centrifuge technology developed by the Enrichment Technology Company, Ltd. (ETC), an AREVA subsidiary, and world leader in enrichment services technology. This centrifuge technology has been successfully deployed in Europe for more than thirty years, using 50 times less electricity than the gaseous diffusion process.

AREVA is a major supplier of enrichment services. It owns and operates the Georges Besse enrichment plant in France, which has safely operated for nearly three decades.

Intermountain Gas Company: The story began in 1950 when Nat and Myrtis Campbell read a newspaper article that piqued their interest in the natural gas industry. The company was incorporated that year. After five years of hard work laying the foundation for a new public utility company, Intermountain Gas Company received certification from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission on December 10, 1955. Then, on December 31, 1955, we connected our first five customers.

Since then, Intermountain Gas Company has grown along with Idaho. Today, Intermountain Gas Company is a privately owned natural gas utility headquartered in Boise, Idaho, that serves more than 275,000 customers.

Industrial customers account for 44% of Intermountain Gas Company's sales. Our industrial customers include potato processors, chemical producers, fertilizer plants, and electronic factories and provide jobs for over 40,000 Idahoans. Commercial customers account for 19% of sales and residential about 37%.

Rocky Mountain Power has been powering the West for 100 years. Our company dates back to 1881, when Salt Lake City became the fifth city in the world to have central station electricity. Utah Power & Light (UP&L) was formed in 1912 from several small electric companies in Utah, Idaho and western Colorado. In organizing dozens of small power companies, serving 130 small cities and towns, the new company supplied about 39,700 customers in 1912. In just 10 years, UP&L grew to serve 205 communities and 83,000 customers
