When minutes matter, our helicopter ambulance service, Air Idaho Rescue, connects patients with our Trauma Center to benefit from the full resources of every specialty. Ours is also the only Level I Critical Care Center in Southeast Idaho, and in 2005, one of only 10 ICU's in the entire nation to be named as a Beacon Award winner for critical care excellence.

People who need specialty services such as open-heart surgery, cancer treatment,stroke intervention, neurosurgery, high-risk pregnancy/newborn care, orthopedic services, a comprehensive surgical weight loss program, or hyperbaric medicine, will find all that -- and a whole lot more -- at EIRMC.

Because we care about the safety of our patients, EIRMC is the first Idaho hospital to "go digital" with technological innovations that include a pharmacy robot, bedside bar-code scanning, and electronic medical records.

At Idaho Falls Care & Rehabilitation, it is our goal to bring together a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, rehabilitation specialists and support professionals to deliver quality care. Soon after admission, this team works together with each patient or resident and his or her physician to develop a personalized clinical care plan. Family members are invited to join in this process and become an integral part of the care team. In addition, our social services team is always available to provide on-site assistance.
 
The comfortable, home-like environment at our centers, include private and semi-private rooms along with common areas to enjoy time with friends and family. Dining rooms offer a variety of menu choices, and TV and Internet access are available.
 
While we’re focused on helping our patients and residents thrive physically, we also support their emotional well-being through flexible visiting hours and activities to brighten their spirits. The supportive atmosphere at each of our centers is fostered by a friendly staff that is dedicated to helping patients celebrate their recovery through milestones, large and small.

Mountain View Hospital is a 20-bed licensed general acute care hospital. MVH is owned and operated by local physicians and provides a full complement of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic and rehabilitative services for patients of all ages. Each of our services, whether they be a routine check-up or specialized surgical treatment is delivered by our competent and professional staff. Mountain View Hospital is dedicated to providing access for all residents by eliminating financial, linguistic, physical, andoperational barriers. Mountain View Hospital has made many strides in serving Idaho Falls through our addition of the Cardiac and Specialty Imaging Laboratory, Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care and Orthopedic & Sports Clinic.
